Ian Chattington
Chief Executive Officer
Originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor with AC Lloyd (C.Eng.) Ltd, Ian moved to Asfare Ltd as a Surfacing Supervisor/QS, worked his way up and ended his career there as Managing Director before starting Power Plane Ltd in 1996. With overall responsibility for all aspects of the business, he is still fascinated and excited by new technology and constantly looking for improvements

Dean Spoor
Chief Commercial Director
Dean has vast experience within the road Planing industry, getting involved in general road Planing when cold milling was in its infancy for various companies before joining Power Plane in 2009 taking a seat on the board in 2010. This move gave him the opportunity to draw on his knowledge and assist the Power Plane team with their ambitions to innovate and develop specialist milling treatments from micro fine milling to bulk excavation surface mining. These treatments fitted nicely with his passion for Airfield works and help take Power Plane to UK market leaders in this sector it is today.

Jordan Chattington
Chief Operations Officer
Having progressed through the operations department into the role of COO, Jordan has developed a strong understanding of every stage of our projects and what it takes to deliver them successfully. His experience has been built through hands-on involvement across the business, giving him a practical approach to problem-solving and a real appreciation for the importance of teamwork, safety, and quality. Being part of a family business is something he is incredibly proud of and is committed to driving the company forward while maintaining the values, reputation, and high standards our clients have come to expect.

Daniel Siddons
Non-Executive Director
Daniel joined Power Plane in 2024 bringing a wealth of business acumen and experience to support Power Plane having previously worked in the retail industry for 32 years at an executive level. Daniel advises and supports the leadership team in the forward strategic planning and the execution of those plans. He brings in multiple levels of experience from the corporate world safeguarding that as we grow, we do so in the most effective way, ensuring that the Customer is at the heart of our business.

Financial Controller
As an FCCA-qualified finance professional, Abdul has always been driven by a passion for learning, problem-solving, and helping businesses perform at their best. Over the course of his career, he has gained valuable multinational experience across Europe, North America, the Gulf, and Asia, working with diverse teams and navigating complex business environments. Adbul has embraced every opportunity to lead, innovate, and create lasting value for Power Plane.

Elliot Allan
Operations Manager
Having joined Power Plane Ltd in 2026, Elliott brings a wealth of operational leadership experience gained across logistics, supply chain and business transformation. Jayne Preston
Accounts
Jayne started her career in the banking sector with Lloyds Bank. After a career break to raise three sons, she then joined Power plane in 2003 as accounts assistant. Since then she’s grown with the company in the ever expanding accounts department and now leads the accounts, HR and Payroll for the workforce that is 100% PAYE.
Wesley Smith
Logistics and QA Manager
Wesley is a key member of the team at Power Plane. Starting in 2001 as an operations assistant, he has gained lots of experience within the company over the years, and built some lasting relationships within the industry. Recently has been promoted to the transport manager role, having gained the relevant qualifications. Wesley is now an integral part of the QA & Management system here at Power Plane.

Harvey Morries
Data Analysis
Harvey joined Power Plane in 2025 after a career in the motor trade. His passion for data lead Harvey to gain data analytics qualifications with Google and Microsoft. Harvey has since restructured all our data and the process of ongoing data capture. This has allowed us to make better decisions as a business and use our data more effectively. Harvey has become an integral part of the Power Plane team helping all areas of the business to automate where possible and scale for new system implementations.

Mitchell Chattington
Accounts Assistant
Mitchell joined Power Plane as an Accounts Assistant after completing his full-time education. He supports the accounts team with the day-to-day financial operations of the business while developing his knowledge and experience within the industry. Mitchell is committed to providing accurate support and contributing to the high standards that Power Plane is known for.
